GTM deep dive / 1
Broad outbound, lead-gen, and general GTM systems agencies have not been the strongest fit. Patrick Spychalski at The Kiln and Eric Nowoslawski are examples.
The warmest response has come from agencies that specialize specifically in growth.
Alex Fine: strong conversation last week. We are waiting for the agreement before onboarding and launch.
This week: Ammo Studio, a Webflow agency, and Clikworks, a Clay agency interested in adding more SKUs.
Corey Haines is interested in bringing Conversion Factory on as a Ploy partner.

Kyle Poyar: closed. Ploy is the presenting sponsor of Kyle and Maja’s 2026 State of B2B GTM Report & Virtual Summit.
Maja Voje: building her conference website in Ploy this week, followed by Ploybooks and a case study about the experience.
Strategy Breakdowns / Tom Alder: the first ad went live Sunday and produced a big traffic bump.
Tyler Denk: the first send goes out today.
Alex Garcia: nothing has gone live yet. We are waiting to review the creative, with launch expected this week.
Passionfroot: the full $70K August budget is committed. 24% of the content is live, and 76% is in feedback.

We are in a dry spell and did not close any net-new deals last week.
Our overall close rate fell from 46% to 36%, moving from the top of the range to the middle of ‘great’ for our vertical and ticket size.
We lost 3 deals last week because we did not have a SOC 2 certificate ready. This week’s deep dive will test whether the issue is pipeline persona, sales process, or both.
